Roll-up standee
The reusable standard, for offices, exhibitions and repeat events.

The print on a standee costs very little. Most of the price is the stand, and the difference between an economy roll-up and a good one is whether it still works after the fifth event.
Roll-up. The print retracts into an aluminium base. It is the one to buy if it will be used more than once — it packs into its own bag, survives transport and sets up in thirty seconds. The cassette mechanism is the whole quality question.
X-banner. A light frame that the print hooks onto at four corners. Cheapest, lightest, fine for a single event, and the print is a separate item so it can be changed. Less stable in a breeze or a busy corridor.
Cut-out standee. A contour-cut sunboard figure with a back support — a person, a product, a mascot. Not reusable in the same way, but it is the one people photograph.
Standard sizes exist and cost less: roughly 2×5, 2.5×6 and 3×6 feet. A custom size means custom hardware, which is a different order of cost.
The reusable standard, for offices, exhibitions and repeat events.
Light and cheap, for a single function.
Contour-cut figure or product on sunboard with a back support.
A person at full height, which needs 5mm board and a proper support.
Printed both faces for a corridor or an aisle.
Several wide roll-ups joined to make a photo wall.
Small counter units for reception desks and stalls.
Weighted base and laminated print for a gate or a footpath.
The third one is why your standee still works next year.
Roll-up cassette or X-frame, in economy or premium build, chosen from how often it will be used.
On the right media for the mechanism, at a resolution that holds up at arm’s length.
Safe area at top and bottom — the cassette and the top rail both eat into the design.
Matte for photographs under event lighting, which otherwise glare badly.
Included. A roll-up transported loose gets a dented cassette and then it jams.
The stand is kept and only the print is replaced, which is much cheaper the second time.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Standees are cheap enough that nobody thinks about them, which is why these four happen constantly.
A roll-up loses a few inches at the bottom into the cassette and a strip at the top to the rail. A logo placed at the very bottom of the artwork disappears into the base. Every standee we print gets a safe-area check first.
People stand about a foot from a standee, which makes it the most demanding thing we print for resolution — more than a hoarding. A file that looks fine on a laptop is visibly soft at that distance.
A glossy standee under a spotlight becomes a mirror and the text cannot be read from the angle people stand at. Matte lamination costs very little and solves it completely.
Economy roll-up cassettes jam after a few cycles and the print tears at the leader. If the standee is for one function, economy is the correct choice. If it will travel to six, buy the better mechanism and replace only the print each time — that works out cheaper by the third event.
A roll-up thrown in a car boot loose gets a dented cassette, and a dented cassette jams. The bag is included for a reason.

The listings for Pune are ordered by ad spend and review count. Both are worth something, and neither answers whether the team has worked your kind of venue.
A team that has worked Pune knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Priced per unit, because the hardware is most of the cost rather than the print. An X-banner is the cheapest, an economy roll-up next, and a premium roll-up with a good cassette and a carry bag the highest. Reprints on an existing stand are much cheaper.
Roughly 2×5, 2.5×6 and 3×6 feet, because the hardware is made to those. A custom size needs custom hardware, which costs considerably more than a slightly different standard size, so it is worth fitting the design to a standard one.
Roll-up if it will be used more than once — it packs into its own bag, survives transport and sets up in seconds. X-banner for a single event where cost and weight matter. The roll-up cassette is the part that determines whether it still works on the fifth outing.
Because people view a standee from about a foot away, which demands more resolution than a hoarding does. Artwork that looks sharp on a laptop is visibly soft at that distance. Send the original design file rather than an exported image wherever possible.
Yes, and on a decent roll-up that is the sensible way to work. The cassette is the expensive part; the print is not. Keep the stand, order a replacement print for the next event, and the total cost drops sharply from the second use.
Usually, on a standard size with print-ready artwork in before noon, if the hardware is in stock. Cut-out standees need longer because of contour cutting and the back support. Full 24×7 service is coming soon rather than running today.
That phrase has no official meaning, so the useful question is what to compare. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles roll-up standee, x-banner standee and cut-out standee in Pune. The same crew covers In Pune. Ask what happens to the price when a number moves; a single figure tells you nothing.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Pune before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.

The size, how many, and whether it is for one event or will travel. That last answer changes which hardware you should buy.
