This page is how you exercise your rights over the personal data Plan With YOLO holds about you. Nothing here needs an account, and you do not have to explain why you are asking.
What you can ask for
- A copy of the personal data we hold about you, and a summary of how we have used it.
- A correction if something we hold is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Erasure of your personal data.
- Withdrawal of consent, which stops us using your details from that point on.
- A nominee — someone you name to exercise these rights for you if you die or are unable to act.
- A complaint about how we have handled your personal data.
What we need to find you
There are no logins on this website, so the only thing that identifies you in our records is the phone number or the email address you used when you contacted us. Put that in the form and we can find you. Please do not send us an Aadhaar, a PAN or any other identity document — we do not need one and we do not want to hold one.
How long it takes
We acknowledge every request within two working days and give you a reference number. We answer within 30 days. The Digital Personal Data Protection Rules allow up to 90 days; we do not intend to use them.
We may come back to you once to check that the request really came from you. That check is there to stop somebody else getting at your data, not to slow you down.
Erasure, and the one part of it we cannot rush
When you ask for erasure or withdraw consent, we act at once: your records are flagged, taken out of our alerts, and nobody contacts you about them again. The files themselves are deleted once the record is a year old, because Rule 8(3) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 requires a Data Fiduciary to keep personal data and the logs of its processing for a minimum of one year. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim an instant deletion that the law does not allow us.
Make your request
Questions about any of this go to Grievance Officer — hello@planwithyolo.com, +91 84858 38274. Not satisfied? You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
If we get it wrong
Come back to Grievance Officer first — most things are a misunderstanding and get sorted in a day. If we still have not resolved it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which is the authority set up under the Act to hear exactly this kind of complaint.
