Who we are

Plan With YOLO is an event management company based in Pune, working since 2013 on events, branding, SEO, websites, social media and apps. For the purposes of Indian data protection law, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data from your browser.

Enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, event type, event date, expected number of guests, city and your message.
Career applications: your name, email address, phone number, the role you are applying for, your experience, any portfolio or profile links, and the resume file you upload.
When you contact us directly: anything you share by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Usage data: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through Google Analytics 4 cookies if you allow them.

We do not take payments on this website, so we never collect card, UPI or bank details online. We do not ask for sensitive data such as health information, passwords or biometric data.

Why we use your data

To reply to your enquiry, understand your event and send you a quotation.
To plan and deliver an event you have booked with us, including coordinating with the suppliers involved.
To assess job applications and contact candidates about a role.
To understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, send us a message or accept analytics cookies. Where you have booked an event, we also process data as needed to carry out that booking, and where the law requires us to keep records, we process data to comply with it.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hello@planwithyolo.com. Withdrawal does not affect anything we did lawfully before it, but it may mean we can no longer respond to an enquiry or continue with an application.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and see which pages are useful. GA4 sets cookies that identify your browser, not you by name. We use this data in aggregate only.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website will still work without them.

Our pages also include a Google Maps embed showing our office, and links to WhatsApp and Trustpilot. These services may set their own cookies when you interact with them, under their own privacy policies.

We share personal data only where it is needed:

Event suppliers such as venues, caterers, decorators, photographers and sound or lighting vendors, and only the details they need to deliver your event (for example a contact name, phone number, date and venue).
Service providers who help us run the business, such as Google Analytics, email and website hosting, under their own confidentiality and security terms.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised security standards, and we follow any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Client and event records: for as long as tax, accounting and other legal rules require us to keep them.
Career applications: up to 12 months, so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
Correct or update data that is wrong or incomplete.
Erase data we no longer need to keep.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to do so.
Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

We will acknowledge your complaint within two working days and resolve it within one month of receiving it.

Security

We use reasonable security practices to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption on the website, restricted access to enquiry and application records, and trusted providers for hosting and email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will inform you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we are planning a children’s event, we collect details only from the parent or guardian making the booking. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will make it clear on the website.
