Magarpatta is a planned township with an IT park inside it and its own management running both. Access, permissions and timings all come from one authority — which is simpler than a committee, and stricter.
Magarpatta is a privately planned township with a substantial IT park inside it, and its own management administers the whole thing — the roads, the gates, the amenity spaces and the commercial buildings. That makes event permissions unusually clean: there is one place to ask rather than five.
It also makes them unusually firm. Vehicle entry is controlled, there are stated hours for goods movement, amenity spaces are booked through a process, and what may be put up in a common area is defined rather than negotiated. None of that is a problem if it is started two or three weeks out; all of it is a problem on the Friday before.
The work splits in two. Corporate events in the IT park — town halls, all-hands, client days, team events, award evenings — where the build happens on an office floor or in a company's own space and the building's rules apply. And residential functions in the township: clubhouse birthdays, annual days, Ganpati, naming ceremonies. The same management governs both.
Full-staff sessions with screens, mics and seating, run to a fixed clock.
Hosted sessions with branding, a short programme and conversation-level sound.
Felicitations with a cue sheet, citations and printed certificates.
Company events using the township amenity spaces, with games and counters.
Residential birthdays, annual days and new-year nights.
Ten days of decoration, a daily aarti and an immersion to plan for.
Morning functions at home, set up and struck before lunch.
Launches and briefings with a backdrop built for the camera.
Corporate floors and township amenities, under one rulebook.
Township approval, gate passes and goods-movement hours, arranged before the build is scheduled.
Screens, microphones on separate channels, seating and a cue sheet that keeps the session to time.
Backdrops and staging that go up around a working floor, in sections that pass a commercial lift.
Games, counters, stage and prizes for a crowd that arrives together when a shift or a session ends.
Clubhouse birthdays, annual days, Ganpati and ceremonies, built to the management's rules.
Backdrops, standees, badges and signage made in our own unit, so they never become the late item.
Magarpatta is one of the most orderly places in Pune to run an event, provided you work with the order rather than around it.
Township approval, vehicle entry and the amenity booking are a process with a form and a timeline. Started early it is simple; left to the last week it is the reason a build does not happen.
There are stated hours for a goods vehicle inside the township, and they are enforced at the gate. Our load-in is planned inside them and the hour is in the quotation, not discovered on the day.
People are working. Build quietly, keep walkways and fire routes clear, use the service lift, and schedule the noisy parts for outside working hours. The facilities manager will tell you exactly what is allowed if asked a week ahead.
What may stand, how big, for how long, and whether anything may be fixed to a surface. This is defined rather than negotiable, and it decides the design.
Deposits here are real and so is the relationship — the same management will be asked again next year. Everything out the same night, nothing left in a corner.
Nobody ranks planners on how their events went. What the results rank is visibility, which is why the shortlist matters more than the order it arrives in.
A team that has worked Magarpatta knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
Through the township management rather than the municipal corporation or a residents' committee — one place to ask, which is simpler, and firmer. Start two to three weeks out: township approval, vehicle entry and the amenity booking are a process with a timeline.
Yes. We build around a working floor — quietly, with walkways and fire routes kept clear, using the service lift, and the noisy parts scheduled outside working hours. The facilities manager will confirm what is allowed if asked a week ahead.
Yes. What decides those is screens readable from the back, microphones on separate channels with spares, a cue sheet somebody owns, and a start that happens on time. Recording is decided before the mics are rigged.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill.
Only with the gate pass and only during the stated goods-movement hours, which we arrange and plan around. Our load-in hour is in the quotation rather than left to the day.
Three to four weeks, mostly because of the permission and the vehicle entry rather than the build itself. For a large corporate event with printing, six weeks.
That phrase has no official meaning, so the useful question is what to compare. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles town halls and all-hands, client and partner days and award evenings in Magarpatta. The same crew covers Hadapsar and Amanora. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Magarpatta before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Magarpatta with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Magarpatta are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
