Open-ground weddings
A full build on bare land — structure, floor, power, light and mandap.

Sus climbs into the hills behind Baner — gated townships, open land between them, and gradients that decide where a truck can go. For an outdoor function there is more room here than almost anywhere nearby.
Sus sits on the hill side of the Baner–Pashan belt and has not filled in completely. Gated townships sit between stretches of open land, which means two kinds of venue: a modern clubhouse with a service lift and a committee, or bare ground with a view and nothing else at all.
The open ground is the opportunity. A function can be built here rather than booked — a marquee, a floor, a generator, tower lights, a structure where there was nothing — and there is more room and a better outlook than anywhere comparable in west Pune. That is quoted in two halves: the infrastructure first, the event second. Skip the first and the second does not work.
The slope is the thing people underestimate. Approach roads climb, some of them steeply and some of them without a turning circle at the top. Levelling a sloped plot is real work rather than a line item, and water runs downhill through a site if the floor was not planned for it. We walk the ground before we quote.
A full build on bare land — structure, floor, power, light and mandap.
Evening functions with a view, where the lighting does most of the work.
Society annual days, birthdays and new-year nights inside the townships.
Day sessions and team events using open ground, with shade, seating and activity zones.
Functions inside the gate, with power and lighting brought in.
Vastu shanti and griha pravesh in the newer flats, set up and struck in a morning.
Outdoor functions in the cooler months, seated and unhurried.
Daytime gatherings on open ground, with shade and a clear plan for parking.
From a clubhouse evening to a function built on bare hillside.
Which approach, what size of vehicle and whether it can turn at the top — settled on the site visit, not on the day.
A sloped plot made flat and firm under seating, dining and anything people will dance on.
A generator sized to stage, lights and kitchen together, with reserve, and every run covered or buried.
Tower lights on the approach, the parking and the washroom path, not just a bright stage and a dark walk.
A real plan for rain and for water running downhill through the site, decided at quotation time.
Frames out, cabling lifted, pegs pulled, waste taken away with us rather than left on the hill.
An open plot with a view is the best value in west Pune and the easiest to underestimate, because half the cost is invisible in a photograph.
How steep, which way the water runs, where a truck can turn, and whether the approach is sealed. Those four answers decide whether the plot is usable and what the levelling will cost. They are worth half an hour.
A sloped plot has to be made genuinely flat and firm under seating, dining and dancing. Done badly, chairs rock, tables slope and a dance floor is dangerous. Done properly, nobody notices the ground at all, which is the point.
Stage, lights, kitchen and ambient together, with headroom. A generator sized for the stage alone trips when the caterer switches on, at exactly the worst moment.
On a slope, water from above runs through the site whether or not it is raining on you. Drainage, a raised floor and the structure's placement are decided at quotation time, and if the date is in the monsoon we will say plainly whether the plot is a good idea.
On a hillside the car park is usually a field and the walk from it is in the dark. Tower lights along that route are the cheapest improvement on the whole quotation and the one guests actually mention.
Nobody ranks planners on how their events went. What the results rank is visibility, which is why the shortlist matters more than the order it arrives in.
Compare the breakdown rather than the total, check the crew is theirs and not hired in, and ask what they have already done in Sus. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes, and for a large guest list it is often the better answer in Sus. It is quoted in two halves — infrastructure (levelling, flooring, power, lighting, water) and then the event — because the first is what makes the second possible and it is the half people forget to budget for.
It decides the vehicle and sometimes the route, so it is worth a site visit rather than a guess. Some approaches here take a truck and some genuinely do not, and we would rather know before the day.
On a slope, water runs through the site from above as well as falling on it, so drainage and a raised floor are part of the design rather than an afterthought. If the date is in the monsoon we will tell you plainly whether the plot is a good idea.
Yes, sized to the whole load rather than to the stage, with reserve capacity, quoted as their own lines so you can see what the infrastructure costs.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill. On open ground we do plan the caterer's power and water.
For an open-ground build, six to eight weeks, because the ground, the structure and the power all have to be arranged. For a clubhouse function, three weeks.
It is worth treating that search as a shortlist, not an answer — no one certifies a best. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles open-ground weddings, outdoor receptions and clubhouse functions in Sus. The same crew covers Baner and Pashan. Ask to see work from the same kind of event, not a showreel of somebody else's.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Sus before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Sus with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
It moves with guest count, venue, the scale of décor and stage, and whether the date is in season. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Sus are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
