Pune decoratorsDécor that fits the room, the ritual and the budget

Good decoration starts with the space, not a catalogue photo. A mandap that looks grand on a lawn can swallow a banquet stage; a balloon arch that fits a clubhouse can block a flat's doorway. We look at your venue, the ritual and how guests will move, then design décor that fits all three.

We decorate at homes, society clubhouses, banquet halls, lawns, resorts and offices. That covers wedding mandaps and reception stages, haldi and mehendi setups, sangeet stages, engagement and ring ceremony backdrops, baby showers, barsa (naming ceremony) cradles, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate stage décor.

Every design comes with a sketch or reference board and an itemised quote before anything is booked. On the day, décor is set up before your guests arrive and removed after the event, so your home or venue is handed back clean. We decorate across Pune city and the twin city, whether it is a flat in Aundh, a clubhouse in Kondhwa, a lawn on Sinhagad Road or a banquet in Wakad.

Share the venue before you share the Pinterest board. The size of the stage, the ceiling height, the lighting and the time the venue gives for setup decide what is possible, and a good decorator designs for that reality.

What to decide first

Start with three things: the colour story, the budget and the one spot that matters most. For a wedding, it is usually the mandap or the reception stage. For a baby shower, it is the swing or chair where the mother-to-be sits. For a birthday, it is the cake table and backdrop. Spend there first, then scale everything else to match.

How early to book

For weddings between November and February, book décor three to six months ahead, as good florists and setups for auspicious dates go early. Fresh flower prices also rise on peak dates. For baby showers, barsa, birthdays and anniversaries, two to three weeks is usually enough; one week can work for simple home décor.

Fresh flowers or artificial?

Fresh flowers look and smell better and suit mandaps, varmala and haldi. Artificial florals hold up better for long events, hot afternoons and backdrops that need to stay perfect for photographs. Many setups mix the two: fresh flowers where guests are close, artificial ones at height.

Pune-specific tips

  • Monsoon (June to September): avoid open-lawn décor unless there is a waterproof structure, and choose fabrics that do not stain when wet.
  • Summer afternoons: fresh flowers wilt fast, so set them up close to the event and keep them shaded.
  • Flats and societies: check lift size, parking for the décor vehicle and society setup timings in advance.
  • Banquets: ask how many hours you get for setup, especially if another event is in the hall before yours.

Questions to ask any decorator. Ask to see real photographs of past setups, not only design references. Ask what is fresh and what is artificial, how many hours setup takes, who will be on site, and whether dismantling and clean-up are included. A clear, itemised quote is the easiest way to compare two decorators fairly.

How much do decorators charge in Pune?

Decorators in Pune charge based on the size of the setup, the type of flowers, fresh or artificial, the venue and the date. A balloon backdrop at home costs far less than a fresh-flower mandap on a peak wedding date. Labour, transport and setup time also add to the cost. Share photos you like and your venue, and we will send an itemised quote.

What is included in wedding decoration?

Wedding decoration usually includes the mandap, the reception stage and backdrop, entrance and pathway décor, seating for the couple and elders, photo corners, table décor and décor lighting. Haldi, mehendi and sangeet setups are often added as separate functions. We plan them in one colour story, set everything up before guests arrive and clear it after.

Can you decorate a baby shower at home?

Yes, we decorate baby showers at home as well as in clubhouses and banquet halls. A typical home setup includes a decorated swing or chair for the mother-to-be, a floral or balloon backdrop, a cake table and a small photo corner. We check your space from photos, set up a few hours before guests arrive and clear everything afterwards.

How early should I book a decorator?

Book a wedding decorator three to six months ahead for dates between November and February, when auspicious dates are in demand. For a baby shower, barsa, birthday or anniversary, two to three weeks is usually enough, and simple home décor can often be done within a week. Booking early gives you more design choice.

Do you decorate in Pimpri Chinchwad?

Yes, we decorate across Pimpri-Chinchwad as well as Pune city, including homes, society clubhouses, banquets and lawns. Wedding décor, baby showers, barsa and birthdays in PCMC are planned the same way as anywhere else: a design and itemised quote first, then setup before your guests arrive and clear-up after.

What is barsa decoration?

Barsa decoration is the décor for a baby's naming ceremony, common in Maharashtrian families. It usually centres on a decorated cradle with flowers or balloons, a backdrop with the baby's name, seating for elders and a small photo corner. It is often held at home or in a society clubhouse, so the décor is designed to fit a smaller space.
