Tathawade is education campuses and new townships either side of the expressway approach. Big student programmes, new clubhouses, and access that is genuinely easy for once.
Tathawade sits on the Hinjewadi–expressway side of PCMC and grew around education campuses and new residential townships. The two populations barely overlap, but both generate events, and between them they fill most of the year.
The campus work is the demanding half: annual days, cultural programmes, convocations, farewells, inter-college competitions and technical festivals. The audiences are large and young, the programmes have a dozen items, and the stage has to take a group dance rather than a speaker. What decides the evening is a stage built for load, monitors the performers can hear, a backstage that can hold the next three acts, and somebody keeping the running order honest.
The township work is the ordinary clubhouse calendar in new buildings with proper service lifts. The one genuine advantage Tathawade has over most of Pune is access: the roads are new and wide, a truck arrives without an hour of crawling, and that shows up directly as fewer crew hours on a large build.

Campus programmes and township functions.
Decked and braced for dance and group items, with safe edges and height set for the back of the hall.
Front-of-house and stage monitors on separate mixes, radio mics with spares, lighting cued to the programme.
A cue sheet, a stage manager and a backstage queue, so a twelve-item evening does not run an hour over.
Entry points, queue space and seating planned for an audience that arrives all at once.
Stall layouts, registration, signage and power for multi-day student events.
Backdrops, standees, certificates and badges made in our own unit, so they never become the late item.
Student events are the most forgiving audience to please and the least forgiving technically, because everything is recorded on a hundred phones.
A group dance loads decking far harder than a speech, and a stage that flexes is both frightening and dangerous. We size and brace for the heaviest item on the list, so the item list has to exist before the build is quoted.
If the performers cannot hear the track on stage they drift off the beat, and an item rehearsed for a month looks under-prepared. Stage monitors on their own mix are the cheapest way to make a cultural programme look good.
Labelled and tested on the actual system, not handed over on a phone during the show. This one habit removes most of the dead air in a college evening.
The items are rehearsed; the forty seconds between them never are. Twelve unrehearsed changeovers is where the extra hour comes from. Ten minutes of walking the order with the anchors fixes most of it.
The roads here take a truck comfortably, which means more can be pre-assembled and brought in one trip. That is a genuine saving on a large build and we price it that way.
Most people start here with a search rather than a recommendation, and the first results are the ones paying for the position or carrying the most reviews. Neither tells you whether a team has set up in a hall like yours.
Compare the breakdown rather than the total, check the crew is theirs and not hired in, and ask what they have already done in Tathawade. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes, and they are most of the work here. We build the stage for the heaviest item on the list, put monitors on their own mix, run a backstage queue and keep the programme to a printed cue sheet. Send the item list at the quotation stage, because it decides the stage and not just the price.
Yes — stall layouts, registration, signage, power and the daily reset. It is quoted as a package rather than per day, because the build goes up once and the crew and the reset are what repeat.
Yes, genuinely. The roads are new and wide, so a truck arrives without the crawl an old-city job costs and more can be pre-assembled and brought in one trip. That shows up as fewer crew hours on a large build.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill.
Yes, in our own unit, which is why they arrive on time. Lock the names early; printing is fast, but final spellings always arrive last.
For a campus programme, four to six weeks, and the hall or ground date usually forces it earlier. For a society function, three weeks.
That phrase has no official meaning, so the useful question is what to compare. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles college annual days, technical festivals and convocations in Tathawade. The same crew covers Wakad and Hinjewadi. Ask which parts are handled in house and which are being passed to a third party.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Tathawade before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Tathawade with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Tathawade are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
