The height check
What may be put up and how tall, confirmed with the venue and the authority before a drawing is approved.

Vishrantwadi grew around the air-force station, which gives it orderly services housing, a settled civilian population, and one rule nobody else in Pune has to think about — nothing goes up without checking height.
Vishrantwadi is an air-force neighbourhood that a civilian town grew around. The housing is a mix of orderly services accommodation and ordinary societies, the internal roads are better than most of east Pune, and the function calendar is the settled kind — weddings, receptions, society annual days, Ganpati, Navratri, retirements and farewells.
The one thing that genuinely distinguishes working here is height. Anywhere near an operational airfield there are restrictions on what may be put up, how tall, and what may be flown, floated or lit upwards. That rules out a few things people assume are standard at a wedding — sky lanterns, drones without clearance, and searchlights or beams aimed at the sky. We ask the venue and the authority rather than guessing, and we say no where the answer is no.
Everything else is ordinary and, if anything, easier than the rest of east Pune. Vehicles get in, societies are organised, and halls are available without the scramble that central Pune has in season.
Society halls, community functions and the ordinary family calendar.

Built to the hall's height and your booked session, in sections that go up and come down fast.
Levels set for a residential area, lighting that works on the ground rather than being aimed at the sky.
Entry, seating and the route to the food planned for the headcount, which is what a big function is judged on.
Pujas, naming days and service farewells, where the running order and the speeches carry the event.
Frames down, waste carried away with us, hall handed back clean and the deposit returned.
Functions in the halls nearby, built and struck inside the booked session.
Evening functions with a stage, entrance and seating sized to the hall.
Service farewells, where the running order and the citations are the event.
A stage, sound and a children's programme for the whole building.
Ten days of decoration, a daily aarti and an immersion to plan for.
Nine nights in the society compound, with flooring, lighting and sound.
Daytime functions in a flat, set up and struck in one morning.
Clubhouse and flat setups, built low and safe.
Nearly everything about an event here is normal. The exceptions are worth knowing before you promise anything to the family.
Tall entrance gates, high mandap spires and anything on a mast may be restricted depending on exactly where the venue sits. The venue will know, and where it does not, the authority does. We ask rather than build and hope.
Near an operational airfield they are a genuine hazard, not a formality. The same goes for anything else released into the air. If a photographer or a decorator has promised them, that promise needs withdrawing early rather than on the night.
Your photographer may fly routinely elsewhere. Here it requires permission, and the permission takes time. Decide early whether the aerial shot is worth the paperwork, because the alternative is a crew arriving with a drone they cannot use.
Sky beams and searchlights are the other common wedding item that does not belong here. Good ground and façade lighting looks better in photographs anyway, and nobody has to ask anyone\'s permission for it.
Vehicle access is good, the societies are organised, and halls are available without the seasonal scramble of the centre. Once the height question is settled, this is one of the more straightforward parts of the city to build in.
That search returns whoever advertises hardest in Vishrantwadi, not whoever runs the better event. It is a starting list, and the sorting is still yours to do.
Three questions separate the shortlist quickly: has the team worked in Vishrantwadi before, is the quotation itemised, and who is physically on site on the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes, and they are real. There are limits on height near an operational airfield, sky lanterns are out, drones need clearance rather than confidence, and beams aimed upwards are not appropriate. We check with the venue and the authority before approving a design, and we will tell you plainly if something cannot be done.
Only with clearance, and that takes time to obtain. Decide early. We would rather you knew at the planning stage than have a crew arrive on the day with equipment they are not allowed to fly.
Yes, and it is most of the work here. We need the booking hours, the deposit terms and the society's list of what is allowed before designing, because all three change the build.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill.
Whatever your society or the hall says, and most here say ten. Loudspeakers are in any case not permitted anywhere in Pune between ten at night and six in the morning except on the days the state exempts.
For a hall wedding, as early as the hall will take you. For a society function, three weeks. For a small home function, two.
There is no ranking that decides this, so the word means whichever team is right for your event. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles hall weddings, receptions and retirement and farewell functions in Vishrantwadi. The same crew covers Dhanori and Yerawada. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.
Start with teams that already work in Vishrantwadi — they know the venues, the loading access and the society rules, which is where most local jobs go wrong. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Vishrantwadi with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Vishrantwadi are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
