College annual days
Multi-item cultural programmes with a stage, monitors and a running order that holds.

Dhankawadi has a large education campus on one side and the Satara road on the other. That gives it big young audiences, easy vehicle access, and traffic you have to load in around.
Dhankawadi is defined by two things on opposite sides of it. One is a substantial education presence, which brings annual days, cultural programmes, convocations, farewells and inter-college competitions — events with large, young audiences that arrive all at once and expect sound and lighting to be good.
The other is the Satara road. That is a genuine advantage: material arrives without the crawl that a job in the old city costs, and a truck can be brought close. It is also the reason load-in has to be timed. Trying to unload onto a service road at six in the evening is slower than doing the whole build at six in the morning.
Between the two sits ordinary residential Pune — societies, halls, family functions. Those are straightforward, and the only thing worth settling early is the hall slot, because that decides everything else about the plan.
Multi-item cultural programmes with a stage, monitors and a running order that holds.
Processions, certificates, photography and family seating, run in order.
Student evenings with sound, lighting and a stage that survives the night.
Day-long events with registration, multiple stages and scoring to manage.
Functions in the halls along the road, built and struck inside the session.
Evening functions with a stage, entrance and seating sized to the hall.
Ganpati, Navratri and annual days inside the buildings.
Weekend setups aimed at a student audience, with permissions handled first.
From a twelve-item college programme to a hall wedding.
Decked and braced for dance and group items, with safe edges and height set for the back of the hall.
Front-of-house and stage monitors on separate mixes, radio mics with spares, and lighting cued to the programme.
A cue sheet, a stage manager and a backstage queue, so a long evening does not run an hour over.
Entry points, queue space and seating planned for an audience that arrives in one wave.
Arrival timed to the road, material moved in fast and the vehicle sent away rather than left standing.
Backdrops, standees, certificates and badges made in our own unit, so they never become the late item.
A student audience is the most honest audience there is. If the sound is bad they will tell you immediately, and so will everyone on their phone.
A group dance loads decking far harder than a speech, and a stage that flexes is both frightening and dangerous. We size and brace for the heaviest item on the list, which means the item list has to exist before the build is quoted.
If the performers cannot hear the track on stage they drift off the beat, and an item rehearsed for a month looks sloppy. Stage monitors on their own mix are the cheapest way to make a cultural programme look well prepared.
Not handed over on a phone during the show. Collected, labelled and tested on the actual system the day before. This one habit removes most of the dead air in a college evening.
The highway is an advantage at seven in the morning and a liability at seven in the evening. We say at the quotation stage when we intend to arrive, and it is usually earlier than anyone expects.
A student audience empties the hall in four minutes. Exits need to be wider than entrances, lit, and not pointed straight at a live road. That is drawn before the decoration.
The listings for Dhankawadi are ordered by ad spend and review count. Both are worth something, and neither answers whether the team has worked your kind of venue.
Compare the breakdown rather than the total, check the crew is theirs and not hired in, and ask what they have already done in Dhankawadi. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes. We build the stage for the heaviest item on the list, put stage monitors on their own mix, run a backstage queue and keep the programme to a printed cue sheet. Send the item list at the quotation stage, because it decides the stage and not just the price.
Yes, sized to the room rather than to the budget. Front-of-house and monitors are mixed separately, radio mics come with spares and fresh batteries, and somebody stays on the desk through the whole programme.
Usually earlier than expected, because the road decides it. For an evening event we prefer an early-morning load-in rather than unloading onto a service road in traffic. We state the time in the quotation.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill.
Yes, in our own unit — backdrops, standees, certificates, badges and signage. Lock the names early; printing is fast, but final spellings always arrive last.
For a college programme, four to six weeks, and the hall date usually forces it earlier. For a wedding, three to four weeks once the hall is booked.
It is worth treating that search as a shortlist, not an answer — no one certifies a best. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles college annual days, convocations and farewells and freshers in Dhankawadi. The same crew covers Katraj and Bibwewadi. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Dhankawadi before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Dhankawadi with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Dhankawadi are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
