Gate width, lift size, lawn depth and where a tempo can actually stand. Half an hour that decides the rest.

Aundh holds two kinds of function in the same square kilometre — a bungalow lawn with room for a mandap, and a thirtieth-floor clubhouse with a service lift and a ten o'clock deadline. We set up for both, and the difference starts at the gate.
Aundh is one of the older established parts of west Pune, and it did not redevelop all at once. There are still bungalows with a lawn deep enough for a mandap and a gate wide enough for a tempo, standing two lanes away from towers where the only way in is a service lift with a stated size. The occasion may be identical. The build is not.
On a lawn the questions are ground, power and weather cover. On a high floor the questions are the lift, the society's working hours and how much can be carried in one trip. We ask which of the two it is before anything is designed, because a frame drawn for a lawn and then carried to the eleventh floor is a morning wasted.
The other constant here is the neighbours. Aundh is residential to its core, the societies are organised, and the committee has usually written down what time sound stops and where a vehicle may stand. We work to that rather than argue with it on the night, and it is the single thing that decides whether a function ends well.
Take the whole function or only the parts you have nobody for.
Gate width, lift size, lawn depth and where a tempo can actually stand. Half an hour that decides the rest.
Built on the lawn where there is one, or in sections that pass a service lift where there is not.
Load worked out against what the building will give, and a generator when it will not give enough.
Levels set for a residential road, and the music off at the hour the committee wrote down.
Our own people from setup to dismantle, not a handover to whoever the vendor sent.
Frames down, waste taken away with us, lawn and lobby handed back the way we found them.
A full mandap and dining on private ground, with cover planned for an unreliable evening.
Indoor receptions on a society floor, sized to the lift and the booking slot.
Rooftop birthdays and anniversaries, with the frame weighted for how exposed a terrace is.
Annual days, Ganpati and Navratri for the whole building, run to the committee's schedule.
Day sessions and team events at the hotels and clubs along the main road.
Small daytime functions inside a flat, set up and struck in one morning.
Sixtieth and seventy-fifth birthdays, where the guest list is older and the seating matters more.
Weekend setups outside the retail stretch, with permissions handled first.
Aundh is easy to plan for and easy to get wrong, and the difference is a few answers nobody asks for until it is late.
It is not a style choice, it is a different job. A lawn needs levelling, cover and its own power. A high floor needs a frame that comes apart. Quotations for the two are not comparable, and a decorator who gives you one number for either has not thought about it.
Most buildings here want written notice, a deposit and a named cut-off time for sound. That is reasonable and it takes a week. Left to the last day it becomes the reason your setup starts two hours late.
"A big lift" is not a measurement. Depth, width and door height decide whether the backdrop goes up whole, goes up in pieces, or goes up the stairs. Send a photo with a tape in it and the problem disappears.
The internal lanes are narrow and visitor parking is limited everywhere in Aundh. Where guests leave their cars, and who tells them, is worth more thought than one more flower arrangement. We mark it and staff it when the headcount justifies it.
Residential Pune is strict and Aundh is organised enough to enforce it. We plan the schedule backwards from that hour so the important part of the evening happens before it, rather than being cut off in the middle.
The listings for Aundh are ordered by ad spend and review count. Both are worth something, and neither answers whether the team has worked your kind of venue.
A team that has worked Aundh knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes. They are a few minutes apart and the same crew works across both, along with Balewadi, Pashan and Sus. There is no separate travel charge inside this belt.
Yes, and it is routine here. We ask for the service lift measurements and the society's working hours first, then build the frame in sections that pass. Where nothing passes, it goes up the stairs and is joined on the landing, which takes longer and belongs in the plan rather than in the morning.
Whatever your society says, and most here say ten or eleven. We plan the evening backwards from that hour. For the record, loudspeakers are not permitted anywhere in Pune between ten at night and six in the morning except on the days the state exempts, so a planner promising you otherwise is promising a complaint.
No. We coordinate the caterer you choose — menus, timings, counters and service on the day — but we do not cook and we take no cut of the food bill. If you have nobody, we will put you in front of caterers we have worked with and you contract them directly.
It depends on whether it is a lawn or a hall, how many guests, and how much is décor against infrastructure. We quote décor, sound, printing and manpower as separate lines so you can see each one and remove anything you do not want. Send the date and a rough guest count and you get a range the same day.
For a wedding, three to six months, and the venue is usually what forces it earlier. For a society or corporate function, four to six weeks. For a small home function, two weeks is enough.
Search results do not rank planners by quality, so the label is only ever someone's opinion. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles bungalow lawn weddings, clubhouse receptions and terrace parties in Aundh. The same crew covers Baner and Bavdhan. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.
Start with teams that already work in Aundh — they know the venues, the loading access and the society rules, which is where most local jobs go wrong. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Aundh with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Aundh are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
