A rating stuck under four
Usually one recurring operational complaint plus no review-request habit. Both fixable, neither quickly.
Shop 7, Ekta Nagri, Near Dwarka Apartment, Anand Nagar, Pune 411051

One review from an angry customer sits at the top of your profile for years. Three agencies will offer to remove it, and all three are describing something that does not exist. What does exist is slower, legal, and works: a reply anybody reading can respect, and a steady flow of genuine current reviews that pushes it down.
Start with the three things no agency can do. A genuine negative review from a real customer cannot be removed — not by us, not by anyone, not for any fee. Reviews can be reported where they break platform policy, and reporting is a request, not a result. And buying reviews or routing unhappy customers away from the review link are both against Google’s policies, with a suspended profile as the downside.
What is possible is unglamorous and it works. A request process that asks every customer in the same words at the same moment. A reply under every review, written for the next person reading rather than for the one complaining. Fixing the thing the reviews keep mentioning. And enough current genuine reviews that one bad month stops being the first thing anybody sees.
See Business Profile management for the profile itself and local SEO for the search half.

Something changed — a staff member, a supplier, a policy. Find it first; the reviews are the symptom.
Reported with evidence. Sometimes removed, sometimes not, and anybody guaranteeing removal is guessing.
Recency carries weight. A profile that stopped collecting in 2023 reads as a business that stopped.
Duplicates split the rating. Merging is procedural and slow and worth starting immediately.
The easiest case. A process and ninety days usually settles it.
A complaint page or forum thread ranking for your name, which is answered by owning your own branded results rather than by takedowns.
Where platform rules are stricter, patient privacy applies, and a reply has to be careful as well as kind.
In the order it should be done.
Twelve months of reviews sorted by theme. In most Pune businesses two complaints make up most of the bad reviews, and they are operational — waiting time, a staff member, a delivery promise — not reputational.
A direct review link, a printed QR code at the counter, and a WhatsApp message sent after every job. Asking all customers is compliant; asking only the happy ones is review gating and is against the rules.
A short, specific, unhurried reply under each review. The audience is not the reviewer, it is the next customer deciding whether a problem here gets handled like an adult.
Spam, a competitor, abuse, a review of a different branch or a different business. We prepare the report and the evidence. We do not promise the outcome, because the platform decides it.
A 3.8 does not become a 4.5 in a month. With a steady flow of genuine reviews it moves over two to three quarters, and we will show you the arithmetic rather than a projection.
The most effective reputation work is operational. See <a href="/restaurant-management-in-pune/">restaurant management</a> for how that looks in a venue.

This is the question we are asked most, and the answer is specific.
If a business publishes reviews about itself on its own website and marks them up with Review and aggregateRating schema, Google will read it and will not show a star rating in the search result. It is excluded by design, because it is the business reviewing itself. The markup is still worth having — it states the facts to every engine and assistant that reads the page, and AI answers increasingly do read it — but it is not the route to a star.
The rating you see beside a business in a maps result or a local pack is its Google Business Profile rating. That is the asset to build, and it is why the review-request process matters more than anything that happens on your website.
Reviews collected on an independent platform are not self-serving, and some platforms do supply rich-result markup — usually on a paid plan, and usually for products rather than for a local service. It is worth considering if your buyers already use that platform. It is not worth paying for in the hope of a star.
Business Profile reviews first, because they produce the visible rating. Replies next, because they are read. Correct schema on your own site after that, for the engines and the AI answers rather than for the star. And the operational fix underneath all of it, because a process that generates complaints generates them faster than any review drive can cover.
One warning worth repeating. The single most common "review service" sold in India is review gating — a feedback form that sends five-star customers to Google and everyone else to a private complaint box. It is against Google's policy, it is detectable, and a suspended profile costs a local business more enquiries than the gated reviews ever brought. See Business Profile management.
That search returns whoever advertises hardest in Pune, not whoever runs the better event. It is a starting list, and the sorting is still yours to do.
Compare the breakdown rather than the total, check the crew is theirs and not hired in, and ask what they have already done in Pune. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
Not if it is genuine. Nobody can. Reviews can be reported where they break Google's policies — spam, a competitor, offensive content, or a review of a different business — and we will prepare that report properly, but the platform decides and it often declines. Any service that guarantees removal of a real customer's review is either lying or planning something that will put your profile at risk.
No. Buying, writing or incentivising reviews is against Google's policies and against every major platform's, and the detection has got considerably better. The downside is a suspended profile, which for a local business means losing the map pack for months. We build the process that collects real ones instead.
It is asking for feedback first and only sending the people who answer positively to the review link, while routing the unhappy ones to a private form. It is what most review-management software in India actually does, and it is explicitly against Google's policy. Asking every customer the same way is compliant, works nearly as well, and does not risk the profile.
Two to three quarters for a visible move, longer if the existing review count is large, because a rating is an average and averages are stubborn. The arithmetic is simple and we will show it to you with your actual numbers: how many new reviews at what rating are needed to move you from where you are to where you want to be.
Usually because those stars are a Business Profile rating shown in a maps or local result, not markup from the website. Where a website genuinely shows review stars it is typically for a product or a recipe, or reviews collected on an independent platform. Review markup a business publishes about itself is excluded from review rich results, so it will not produce a star however correctly it is implemented.
To a point. Owning your own branded search results — your website, your Business Profile, your social profiles, a founder profile page — is the practical defence, because it fills the first page with things you control. Getting a third-party page removed from Google is rarely possible and usually the wrong goal; outranking it is achievable.
It is worth treating that search as a shortlist, not an answer — no one certifies a best. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles a rating stuck under four, a sudden run of bad reviews and competitor or fake reviews in Pune. The same crew covers In Pune. Ask who is on site on the day and who answers the phone if something slips.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Pune before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
