The handful of businesses Google puts on the map decide who gets called first. We work on that box alone: the Business Profile, the areas you truly serve, the reviews, and one honest page for each area.
The map pack is the small group of businesses with stars and distances that sits above the ordinary results on a phone. Most local calls begin there. It is decided by its own signals: how near you are to the person searching, how complete and accurate the listing is, what customers have written about you, and whether your details agree with themselves everywhere else on the web.
That box is the whole of this service. We claim or repair the listing, pick categories that match what you actually sell, describe your coverage without exaggeration, build a review habit your counter staff can keep up, and correct the directory entries that contradict each other. Where you genuinely work across several parts of the city, each area gets a page that says something specific and true about working there.
What you will not hear from us is a promise of the first spot in an area where you have no presence. Nearness is real, and no amount of writing beats somebody physically closer to the searcher. We aim at the ground you can hold, and say plainly which ground that is.
Everything here points at one box, and nothing here is site-wide search work.
Verification sorted, duplicate listings merged, and the pin moved to where your door actually is.
A primary category chosen with care, then services and attributes filled in the way search reads them.
A repeatable way to ask at the right moment, with replies written for every rating that arrives.
Listings elsewhere corrected so your name, address and number agree wherever somebody finds them.
A page for each place you work in, written with detail only somebody who goes there would know.
New photographs and short posts added on a rhythm, because a stale listing reads as a closed shop.
Tell us the date, the guest count, the budget and the feeling you want in the room. We ask the questions most people forget.

The map pack is a separate competition from the results below it, decided mostly by where the searcher is standing and how good your listing is. Site-wide search work, meaning structure, speed, content and links, sits on the SEO company in Pune page; this one is only about the box on the map. If both matter to you, they run alongside each other rather than one instead of the other, and the reporting stays separate so you can tell which of the two is earning.
Your listing does more selling than most home pages. Put the real trading name in the name field and nothing else, because words bolted on to win a search are the quickest route to a takedown. Pick the primary category that describes your main trade, and add further ones only where you truly offer that work. Then fill everything the form allows: opening hours including the odd ones, the services list, payment options, and photographs taken this year rather than at the opening. Drop the pin on your entrance, not on the building outline, so a phone navigating from Wakad brings people to the right gate.
Distance carries more weight here than anywhere else in search, which is why a page about a single area can win where a page about the whole city cannot. A city page competes against everybody at once and says nothing a reader could not guess. An area page can name the lanes, the landmark opposite, the parking situation, the hours that suit office crowds there, and how long you take to reach a caller. That specificity is what makes it worth ranking, and it also gives the listing somewhere honest to link to. Write one only where you genuinely work; an area page for ground you never visit reads as thin to a reader and to Google alike.
Ask at the moment the customer is happiest, which is usually while they are still in front of you, and ask in person rather than by a mass message weeks later. Never buy ratings or run an incentive for them; both are against the rules and both are easy to spot. Answer everything that arrives, briefly, in your own words. A poor rating answered calmly does more good than the complaint did harm, because the next reader is really judging how you behave when something goes wrong.
Most map problems announce themselves in one of a few ways, and each points somewhere specific.
| What you see | Usually because | First move |
|---|---|---|
| Strong in your own area, invisible two suburbs away | Distance, and no page that mentions the other area at all | Publish a genuine page for that area, then link the listing to it |
| The listing shows but the phone stays quiet | Category, photographs or hours do not match what the searcher wanted | Correct the category first; photographs second |
| A rival with fewer ratings sits above you | They are nearer the searcher, or their listing is simply more complete | Fill every empty field before chasing more ratings |
| Two entries appear for one business | An old listing from a previous address was never closed | Merge them, keeping the entry with the longer history |
| You only see yourself from your own desk | Google is using your location, so the view is private to you | Check from another part of the city before concluding anything |
| The listing disappeared overnight | Keywords in the name, a virtual address, or category misuse | Put the real details back, then appeal once and wait |
Old details left lying around the web quietly undercut the listing. A directory still showing a previous address in Kondhwa, a social page with a landline nobody answers, a marketplace entry with the trading name spelled differently: each one is a small contradiction. Fix the big directories first, then anything a customer is likely to click, and keep a single written record of the exact name, address, number and hours so everyone in the office copies from the same place. Whenever any of it changes, update that record first and work outwards from it. Where the map is only one part of a bigger push, the digital marketing agency in Pune page sets out how several channels get reported alongside each other.

The map pack is the group of nearby businesses Google shows with a map, ratings and distances, above the ordinary results. It matters because on a phone it takes the top of the screen, and many people call straight from it without visiting a website at all. Getting into it is a different job from ranking a web page.
Three things carry most of the weight: how near you are to the person searching, how relevant your listing looks for what they typed, and how well known your business appears to be. Nearness you cannot change. Relevance comes from categories, services and an area page that matches. The rest comes from ratings, photographs and consistent details elsewhere.
Three things drive the effort: how many locations you have, how much mess already exists, and how many areas you want pages for. A single clean listing needs far less attention than six branches with duplicate entries and outdated directory records. Send us your listing link and the areas you cover, and you will get an itemised scope.
Listing corrections can show within days, while position usually shifts over weeks as ratings, photographs and area pages accumulate. Newly verified listings take longer because they start with no history. Anyone who names a date is guessing. What we can promise is that every change is logged, so you always know what moved and when it went live.
Sometimes, but not reliably, and never by faking an address. A business that travels to customers can list the areas it covers, which helps for searches without a place name in them. For a search naming a specific area, somebody based there usually wins. Renting a mailbox to fake a presence is the fastest way to lose the listing altogether.
Ask every genuine customer, at the moment the work has just gone well, and make it easy with a short link or a printed code at the counter. Never offer a discount or gift for a rating, never write them yourself, and never ask only the people you expect to be kind. Answer each one, including the unhappy ones.
Only for places you genuinely serve. A page per area works when each one carries real detail: the lanes you cover, travel time, parking, the landmark people navigate by. Ten near-identical pages with the place name swapped help nobody and can drag the whole site down. Two or three solid area pages beat a dozen thin ones.
