Working conversion tracking
Form, call and WhatsApp conversions firing correctly and tested. Without this everything downstream is opinion, and a surprising number of live accounts in Pune have none of it.

Impressions, reach, engagement, video views, clicks. Every one of those can go up while your enquiries stay flat, and most agency reports in Pune are built out of exactly those numbers. Performance marketing means one number: what a real enquiry cost you.
Almost every underperforming campaign we are handed has the same defect: nobody could see what was happening. Conversions not configured, phone calls uncounted, WhatsApp taps invisible, form submissions firing on page load, and three channels all claiming the same lead.
So the first fortnight is measurement. Conversion tracking on the form, the call button and the WhatsApp link. Server-side where the browser cannot be trusted. A separate number or link per channel. Then the spend starts, and every weekly decision has something real behind it.
We run Google Ads and Meta Ads as named services; this page is the discipline that sits over them. For enquiry volume as the whole brief, see lead generation.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Four of these are usually missing when we take a campaign over.
Form, call and WhatsApp conversions firing correctly and tested. Without this everything downstream is opinion, and a surprising number of live accounts in Pune have none of it.
Keywords grouped by what the searcher wants, a negative list maintained every week, and match types that do not quietly spend on the wrong queries.
Strong for interest and lookalike audiences, retargeting and visual offers. Weak as a substitute for search intent, which is where most of the wasted spend goes.
One offer, one form, the phone number visible, loading fast on a phone. Sending paid traffic to a home page is the most expensive habit in the category. See website development.
The cheapest conversions available, and routinely not set up. People who already visited and did not enquire are the warmest audience you have.
Budget moved towards what is converting and away from what is not, every week. A monthly report is a record of a month you can no longer influence.
Tight radius, high intent, and a cost per enquiry that only works if the targeting is genuinely local.
Restricted categories, careful creative, and a cost per enquiry that justifies itself on lifetime value.
Short, expensive windows and lead quality that matters far more than lead count. See project launches.
Seasonal peaks where the campaign has to be live before the search volume arrives.
Low volume, long cycle, and search intent that is narrow enough to be bought precisely.
Where the metric is return on ad spend rather than cost per enquiry. See e-commerce.
Short-horizon offers and bookings, where organic maps visibility usually deserves the first rupee.
A fixed date, so the whole budget has to land in a defined window.
Five ways, in order of how much they cost.
Spending without measurement is not marketing, it is donation. If calls and WhatsApp taps are not counted as conversions, the platform optimises towards clicks and you pay for traffic rather than enquiries. This is the first thing we check and it is broken more often than not.
A search campaign on broad match without a maintained negative list will find the cheapest, loosest queries it can. Accounts we inherit routinely show a third of spend on searches the business cannot serve — other cities, free alternatives, job seekers, students writing assignments.
A home page asks a visitor to choose. A landing page asks them to act. The same campaign against the same audience typically converts several times better with a page written for it.
Interest targeting is not intent. Meta is excellent at remarketing, visual offers and lookalike audiences, and poor at replacing somebody typing exactly what they want into Google. Budgets that ignore this split spend badly.
By the time a monthly report lands, the month is spent. Weekly reallocation — more into what is converting, less into what is not — is where performance marketing actually happens.
One more, specific to local businesses: paid search for a business with a three-kilometre catchment competes with its own free Business Profile. Fix the profile and the local organic results first, then buy what is left. See Business Profile management and local marketing.
The listings for Pune are ordered by ad spend and review count. Both are worth something, and neither answers whether the team has worked your kind of venue.
Three questions separate the shortlist quickly: has the team worked in Pune before, is the quotation itemised, and who is physically on site on the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
It depends entirely on your category and what an enquiry is worth to you, so an honest first answer is a range after two weeks of data rather than a number in a pitch. What we can say now is that it should be measured against a qualified enquiry — someone who could actually buy — and not against a form fill. Agencies that report cost per lead without qualification are reporting cost per form.
We need tracking in place before spending, which is usually a few days rather than two weeks, and we would rather lose that time than spend blind. If a campaign has to go live immediately for a dated event we will run it and fix the measurement in parallel, and we will tell you what the first week's numbers can and cannot be trusted to mean.
Yes, and the first thing we do is audit it rather than rebuild it. Often the structure is fine and the tracking, the negative keywords and the landing page are not. A rebuild loses the account's learning history, so it is a last resort rather than a default.
You do, always. The Google Ads and Meta accounts, the pixel, the conversion setup and the data stay in your ownership with us as a user. Agencies that run clients on their own accounts are holding the data hostage, and you find out at the point you want to leave.
Enough for the platform to learn — a very small daily budget never gathers sufficient data to optimise and simply spends slowly on the wrong things. We will tell you the realistic floor for your category before you commit, and if the floor is higher than your budget we will say that rather than take the account.
No, and a guarantee should worry you. Lead volume depends on search demand, competition and your offer, none of which an agency controls. What we commit to is the process — working measurement, weekly decisions, honest reporting — and to telling you early if the numbers say the channel does not work for you.
Reviews and ads decide who appears first, not who runs the better event. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles local service businesses, clinics and healthcare and real estate projects in Pune. The same crew covers In Pune. Ask who is on site on the day and who answers the phone if something slips.
Look for a team that has already worked in Pune, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
