Most banner orders are small, urgent and simple: a size, a date, a file. So the sizes are standard, the price per square foot is published, and if the artwork is ready before noon it can usually go out the same day.
A banner is three decisions and everybody overthinks the first one.
Size. Standard sizes exist because frames, walls and stands are standard: 2×3, 3×5, 4×6, 4×8, 6×10 feet. Ordering a standard size costs less than a custom one of almost the same area, because there is less waste off the roll.
Material. Vinyl for indoor banners and anything seen close up — it is flatter and sharper. Flex for larger outdoor panels where strength matters more than sharpness. For a one-day indoor event, either works; for a month on a gate, flex.
Hanging. Eyelets along the top and bottom for rope, a pipe pocket for a rod, or simply four corner eyelets for a frame. Tell us where it is going and we will finish it so it can actually be put up without being modified.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Half the complaints about banners are about finishing, not printing.
Your measurement against the space and the fixing, with the allowance the eyelets need.
On vinyl or flex, with colour matched if it sits beside another panel.
Spaced for the size, reinforced at corners, and placed where your rope or frame actually is.
Folded edges on anything that will be handled or outdoors, so a tear cannot start.
Standard material, print-ready file, order before noon — usually out that evening.
Rolled, not folded, because a folded banner has a crease line across it forever.
Welcome, stage and entry banners for a single date.
Sale, opening and seasonal banners for a shopfront.
Named and dated, printed small and fast.
Notices, festivals and condolence boards for housing societies.
Project and safety messaging in a heavier grade for a construction site.
Large runs to a standard template with changing names and photos.
Photo-wall sized, printed flat and sharp for close-up photographs.
Across a span, with reinforced eyelets for wind.
Banners are the simplest thing we print and the most often reprinted, for four avoidable reasons.
A banner ordered to the size of the old banner, when the old banner was itself wrong, is a reprint. Measure the frame or the wall, and tell us whether the measurement is the visible area or the outer edge — that difference is usually three inches a side.
Eyelets and hems eat about an inch and a half all round, and a frame channel eats more. Important text needs to sit well inside, or it ends up folded into the hem or punched through by an eyelet.
A logo pulled off a website is typically a few hundred pixels wide. On a six-foot banner that is soft and visibly jagged. For a banner read from two metres the file genuinely matters — send the original logo, not a screenshot of it.
The single commonest reprint of all, and always a name or a date. We read every line back to you before a banner runs. Please read it back too — ten seconds there saves the whole order.
A folded banner keeps the crease. Ours go out rolled. If someone else delivers yours folded, hang it a day early in the sun and most of it will relax.
See flex printing for large outdoor panels, standees for free-standing displays, and rates.
Most people start here with a search rather than a recommendation, and the first results are the ones paying for the position or carrying the most reviews. Neither tells you whether a team has set up in a hall like yours.
A team that has worked Pune knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
Priced per square foot, with vinyl and flex at different rates and the size breaks published on our printing rates page. Standard sizes such as 3×5, 4×6 and 4×8 feet cost less than custom sizes of similar area because there is less waste off the roll.
In Pune the common ones are 2×3, 3×5, 4×6, 4×8 and 6×10 feet, because frames, stands and shopfronts are built around them. If your space is close to a standard size, ordering the standard one is usually cheaper and quicker.
Usually yes, on standard vinyl or flex, with print-ready artwork received before noon — out the same evening. Custom finishing, lamination or very large sizes need longer. Round-the-clock service is coming soon rather than running today.
Vinyl is flatter and sharper, which suits indoor banners and photo backdrops seen close up. Flex is stronger, which suits larger outdoor panels and anything staying up for weeks. For a one-day indoor function either is fine.
About an inch and a half all round for hems and eyelets, and more if it goes into a frame channel. Anything closer risks being folded into the hem or punched through by an eyelet, which looks like a printing error and is an artwork one.
Yes, rolled rather than folded, across Pune and PCMC. Rolled matters: a folded banner keeps a crease line across the print permanently, and that is not something that can be fixed afterwards.
Nobody awards that title, so it comes down to which team fits the event you are actually running. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles event and function banners, shop and offer banners and birthday and party banners in Pune. Ask to see work from the same kind of event, not a showreel of somebody else's.
Look for a team that has already worked in Pune, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
It moves with guest count, venue, the scale of décor and stage, and whether the date is in season. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
