Flex Printing in PuneFlex is sold per square foot. It is bought by GSM.

Two flex quotes at different rates are usually two different materials. The weight of the fabric, whether it blocks light and how the edges are finished decide whether a panel lasts a season or sags in the first week of rain.

flex printing in puneWhat you are actually choosing when you choose flex

Flex is a woven base coated on both sides. The differences that matter are weight, opacity and finish.

Weight, quoted in GSM. Lighter flex is cheaper and sags sooner, stretches at the eyelets and tears in wind. Heavier flex holds a frame flat and survives a monsoon. For anything staying up more than a few weeks, the heavier grade is cheaper in the end.

Opacity. Frontlit is lit from the front and is what most panels are. Backlit is translucent, made to be lit from behind in a light box, and looks washed out in daylight. Blockout has a black core so nothing shows through — which is what you need when two panels go back to back or when there is a bright wall behind.

Finish. Eyelets at the right spacing, stitched or welded hems on large panels, and pipe pockets where it slides onto a frame. This is the part that gets skipped in a cheap quote and it is the part that fails.

  • GSM stated in the quote, so two prices can actually be compared
  • Frontlit, backlit, blockout and star flex grades
  • Eyelets spaced for the panel size and the wind it will see
  • Stitched or welded hems on anything large
  • Pipe pockets and frame allowance where needed
  • Printed to the frame measurement you give us

what the price includesPrinting, and the finishing that keeps it up.

A flex panel fails at its edges, never in the middle.

Size from the frame

Your frame measurement plus the allowance the fixing method needs, not the file size.

Print

Solvent printing on the grade the job needs, with colour matched across panels that sit together.

Hems

Folded and stitched or welded on large panels, which is what stops a tear becoming a split.

Eyelets

Spaced closer on big or exposed panels, and reinforced at the corners where the load is.

Tiling

Panels joined with an overlap for anything bigger than the roll, planned so no seam lands on a face or logo.

Delivery and fitting

Rolled rather than folded, and fitted with the right tension if we install it.

the kinds we printFlex work we print in Pune

01

Shop and building front flex

The standard frontlit panel on a metal frame.

02

Backlit light box flex

Translucent media for boxes lit from inside, printed denser to compensate.

03

Site and project hoardings

Large tiled panels for construction sites, built for a year of weather.

04

Event backdrops

Stage-size flex to a rigging drawing, delivered to a date.

05

Blockout double-sided

Two images back to back with nothing showing through.

06

Star flex

A higher-gloss premium grade where the panel is seen close up.

07

Canopy and umbrella flex

Printed panels for canopies and promotional stalls.

08

Road and gantry banners

Heavier grade with reinforced eyelets for span and wind.

When people say flex printing is cheaper down the road, it is usually one of these five things.

GSM

The single biggest variable, and the one left out of most quotes. Ask for it in writing. A light grade at an attractive rate is a real saving on a two-week panel and a false one on anything that has to last.

Frontlit versus backlit

Backlit media costs more and is printed with heavier ink so it reads when lit from behind. Putting frontlit flex in a light box is a common and visible mistake — it goes dull and blotchy the moment the light is on.

Finishing

Hems and eyelets are labour. A quote without them is not a lower price for the same thing, it is a price for a raw print you will have to get finished elsewhere.

Tiling and seams

Anything wider than the roll comes in panels. Where the seam falls is a design decision — through a face or a logo is bad, through flat background is invisible. Cheap jobs let the seam land wherever the roll ends.

Colour across panels

A large hoarding printed in three panels on three different days will not match. Printed together, it will. That is scheduling, and it is worth asking about.

For smaller banners see banner printing, for rigid panels sunboard, and for site media hoarding advertising. Rates: printing rates.

Flex printing in pune — FAQsQuestions people ask us.

Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.

What is the flex printing rate per sq ft in Pune?

It depends mainly on the GSM of the flex, then on whether it is frontlit, backlit or blockout, and then on the finishing — hems, eyelets and pipe pockets. Our published rates are on the printing rates page with the grade named against each, so you can compare like with like.

What is the difference between frontlit and backlit flex?

Frontlit is opaque and lit from the front, which is most panels. Backlit is translucent for light boxes and is printed with heavier ink so it reads when lit from behind. Frontlit flex in a light box looks dull and blotchy, which is a common and very visible mistake.

Why are two flex quotes so different?

Almost always GSM and finishing. A lighter grade with no hems and sparse eyelets is genuinely cheaper and genuinely shorter-lived. Ask any printer to state the GSM and the eyelet spacing in writing and the two quotes usually turn out to be for different products.

How long does flex last outdoors in Pune?

A heavier frontlit grade with stitched hems and proper eyelets will take a full monsoon and a summer. A light grade on an exposed frame can stretch at the eyelets in weeks. Sun fade and wind at the edges are what finish a panel, not the print.

Can you print very large flex?

Yes, tiled in panels with an overlap, printed in one go so the colour matches, and planned so no seam falls across a face or a logo. We do site hoardings and gantry banners this way.

Do you fit flex panels as well?

Yes, on frames, walls and site hoardings, tensioned properly so it does not ripple. Fitting is quoted separately from printing so you can take just the print if you have your own fabricator.

Which is the best event management company in Pune?

There is no ranking that decides this, so the word means whichever team is right for your event. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles shop and building front flex, backlit light box flex and site and project hoardings in Pune. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.

How do I find flex printing companies near Pune?

Start with teams that already work in Pune — they know the venues, the loading access and the society rules, which is where most local jobs go wrong. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.

What do top rated event planners in Pune charge?

There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
