Printing
Eco-solvent on the white face at a density that reads through the perforation, which needs more ink than solid vinyl.

Perforated film is the answer to a problem every shopfront has: you want the glass to carry a message to the street and still let the people inside see out. It works because of thousands of tiny holes and a rule about which side is brighter.
One way vision is vinyl with a regular grid of small holes punched through it, printed white on the outer face and black on the inner. From outside you see the printed graphic, because the white surface dominates. From inside you see through the holes, because the black surface absorbs light instead of reflecting it.
The condition: it only works when the outside is brighter than the inside. In daylight that is automatic, and the effect is excellent. After dark, with the lights on inside, it reverses — people outside can see in and the graphic goes dim. That is physics, not a product fault, and anybody selling you the film should say so before you buy it.
On vehicles it has a second use entirely: rear glass branding you can still reverse through. Note that rules on obscuring vehicle glass exist and vary, so on a car we fit the rear window and leave the driver's sightlines alone.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Fitting matters more here than on any other film.

Size, frame rebate, existing film or residue, and whether the glass is toughened or laminated.
Old film and adhesive removed completely, glass cleaned and dried — residue shows badly through perforation.
Applied without stretching. A stretched sheet closes the holes and kills the see-through effect in patches.
Trimmed to the rebate so the edge is not visible as a line across the glass.
How to clean it — no pressure washing, no scraping, and why the holes must stay clear.
Full-glass graphics that still let staff see the street.
Branding on meeting-room and facade glass without blacking it out.
Large graphics on display windows while keeping the interior visible.
Branding on the back window of a car or van that you can reverse through.
Fleet branding on side and rear glass.
Privacy from the street with light and visibility retained inside.
Temporary graphics on a venue frontage, removed afterwards.
Internal office glass where you want pattern without losing light.
Five things, and the first is the one that causes complaints.
With interior lights on and a dark street outside, people can see in and your graphic looks faint. If the glass has to stay private after dark, one way vision is the wrong product — frosted film or a solid printed panel is. Anybody who does not tell you this is setting up a complaint.
The see-through effect depends on the holes staying round and open. A sheet pulled into place has closed holes in the stretched area, which reads as cloudy patches from inside. It gets applied with the right technique or it is visibly wrong.
Any residue under perforated film shows far more than under solid vinyl, because light passes through the holes and catches it. Old film has to come off completely, and that removal is labour rather than a courtesy.
Perforation removes roughly forty per cent of the printed surface, so small text and thin lines break up. Design for it: bigger type, bolder shapes, fewer words. A phone number in 12pt on perforated film is unreadable.
No pressure washing, no scraping, no aggressive solvents — all of them push dirt into the holes or lift the edges. A damp cloth and patience. Tell whoever cleans the glass.
Alternatives: frosted glass film for privacy, solid vinyl for full coverage, car wrapping for bodywork.
That search returns whoever advertises hardest in Pune, not whoever runs the better event. It is a starting list, and the sorting is still yours to do.
Three questions separate the shortlist quickly: has the team worked in Pune before, is the quotation itemised, and who is physically on site on the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Vinyl with a grid of small holes punched through it, printed white on the outside and black on the inside. From outside you see the graphic; from inside you see through the holes. It is the standard way to brand a shopfront without blocking the view from inside.
Priced per square foot, higher than plain vinyl because the media costs more and printing it needs more ink to read through the perforation. Fitting is quoted separately, and removal of old film is labour on top. Send the glass measurements for a quote.
Yes, and this is the honest limitation. The effect depends on the outside being brighter than the inside. After dark with interior lights on it reverses: people outside can see in and the graphic looks faint. For privacy after dark, use frosted film or a solid panel instead.
On the rear window, yes — it is branding you can still reverse through. Rules on obscuring vehicle glass exist and vary, so we fit the rear glass and leave the driver’s sightlines clear. For bodywork, a wrap is the right product.
Almost always because it was stretched during fitting, which closes the perforations in that area. It can also be residue from old film under the holes catching light. Both are fitting faults rather than material faults and mean the sheet should be redone.
A damp cloth, gently. No pressure washing, no scraping and no strong solvents — each of those pushes dirt into the holes or lifts the edges, and once the holes are blocked the see-through effect is gone. Worth telling whoever cleans your glass.
Nobody awards that title, so it comes down to which team fits the event you are actually running. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles shopfront windows, office glazing and showroom glass in Pune. Ask each name you shortlist for an itemised scope rather than one figure, and compare the same lines.
Look for a team that has already worked in Pune, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
There is no standard rate — the cost follows the guest count, the venue, how much décor and stage you want, and the date. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
