Measure the wall before you fall in love with a design. Almost every balloon setup that disappoints was copied from a photo of a hall twice the size of the room it ended up in, so the first thing we ask for is a picture of the space with a rough width and height. Once we have that, the design is built to your wall instead of the other way round.

Home, society hall, café or banquet hall

Where the party happens changes the setup more than the theme does. A living room usually gives you one good wall and a low ceiling, so a garland backdrop with a foil name or number reads better in photos than a tall arch. A society party hall in Bavdhan or a clubhouse gives you a stage, a proper entry and room for pillars, but setup time is normally counted inside your booking slot, so book an extra hour before guests arrive. Cafés are the fussiest: many do not allow tape on painted walls, pins in panelling, or helium anywhere near ceiling fans, so ask what is permitted before you choose a design. Banquet halls are the easiest, because they expect décor and will usually let a team in early.

How long setup takes, and what the space needs

A living-room garland and cake table is usually an hour or two. We work backwards from the time guests arrive, not from when it suits us, and for a surprise we plan the slot around when the person will be out of the house.

The space itself needs very little: one clear wall, a power point within reach for lights and the inflator, somewhere to park close enough to unload, and someone who can let the team in. Move breakables away from the backdrop wall in advance, and keep pets and toddlers out of the room while the setup goes up. Uninflated balloons and burst pieces are a choking risk, so we collect offcuts as we work rather than leaving them on the floor.

Cleanup, and what makes the price move

Clear-up is your choice. Some families want the balloons gone the same night, especially in a booked hall where the slot ends. Others keep the setup for a few days and we come back later. Either way the balloon waste leaves with us, which matters more than people expect once a hundred balloons have been popped.
