Lohegaon sits under the approach to the airport, so the décor is only half the job. We build the backdrop, the arch and the cake table, and we help you place the speeches and the cake song in the quiet stretches.

Balloon setups here are like balloon setups anywhere: a backdrop wall, an arch, foil numbers, a cake table dressed to match. What is different in Lohegaon is the sky. Aircraft pass low and often over this side, and the sound arrives in waves that last only a stretch each time. It changes nothing about how a garland is built and everything about when you ask people to listen.
So we plan the décor and the running order together. The setup is finished before guests arrive, as always. Then the parts of the evening that need to be heard, a speech, a thank you, the cake song, a video call to family who could not come, are placed indoors with the balcony door shut, and the parts that carry themselves, the entry, the photographs, the games, are the ones that sit outside.
Societies on this side are newer, with proper lifts, party rooms and open decks, so access is rarely the problem. Tell us the room, the date and whether anyone is making a speech, and the plan is drawn from there.
A backdrop, a foil age and a cake table for a living room, with the cake song planned indoors.
Characters and colours your child picks, with games planned so nobody has to shout over the sky.
Pastel garlands and a comfortable seat for the mother-to-be, kept away from the open balcony side.
Ring frames and warm lighting, with a quiet corner set aside for the couple's speech.
A lit corner for someone arriving off a long flight, finished before the car reaches the gate.
Backdrop and table styling for someone flying out, built around a short indoor speech.
Weighted arches and clusters outdoors, with the listening parts of the evening moved inside.
A quiet build in an empty flat, revealed at the door, with the countdown done indoors.
Six pieces make up most setups here, and the last one is the reason people call us back.
A wall of balloons on its own frame, sized to the room where the cake cutting will actually happen.
Weighted arches for a door, a deck opening or a terrace corner, anchored so a gust does not move them.
Names, ages and dates in foil, including send-off and welcome-home lines for someone catching a flight.
A cake table dressed to match the wall and set indoors, so the song never has to happen outside.
Speeches, cake song and any video call placed where they can actually be heard indoors.
Setup stripped when you choose, balloon waste bagged and carried out, room handed back swept.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Tell us the date, the guest count, the budget and the feeling you want in the room. We ask the questions most people forget.

Decoration is the easy half here. The half people forget is that the sky over this area is busy, and every part of your evening that depends on being heard has to be placed with that in mind. The good news is that the noise comes and goes rather than staying, so it is a matter of placing moments, not of giving them up.
Sort your evening into what needs quiet and what does not, and the plan writes itself.
| Moment | What it needs to work | Where we put it |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome and entry photos | Nothing; chatter covers everything | Anywhere, indoors or out |
| Speech or thank you | A quiet stretch and a mic that is not fighting the sky | Indoors, balcony door shut |
| The cake song | Everyone singing together, on one cue | Indoors or under cover, never a bare terrace |
| Video call to family away | The clearest audio of the evening | A closed room away from the open side |
| Games with instructions | An anchor who can be heard without shouting | Indoors, or paused for a stretch and picked up again |
| Music and dancing | Volume, inside your society's sound hours | Outdoors early, indoors once the hours run out |
One practical habit helps more than any equipment: leave a gap of a couple of minutes between the moments that matter, so that if a stretch of noise arrives mid-sentence, the speaker can pause and pick up instead of pushing through it. Anyone who has lived here a while does this without thinking about it. Guests visiting from elsewhere do not, so tell them.
Outdoor setups on this side are lovely for photographs and poor for listening, so we design them as the photograph half of the evening. Arches are weighted at the base and kept low and wide, light fabric and loose ribbons are left out because the open ground here carries a breeze, and helium is used sparingly outdoors. Fairy lights and a lit backdrop do more for an outdoor corner than anything tall does. Then the cake, the speech and the call go indoors. If your whole party has to be on a terrace, plan the listening moments early in the evening while the light is still good, and keep the rest for music. A shortlist of shapes and what each needs is on our balloon decoration in Pune page.
Being next to the airport changes who is at the party. Send-offs, welcome-home parties and birthdays timed around someone's flight are common bookings here, and they come with a deadline that does not move. When that is the case we finish the build early rather than close to the invite time, so a changed flight or an early arrival does not walk in on a half-built wall. Tell us the flight day and we will schedule the setup well ahead of it.
Our office is on the Sinhagad Road side, so reaching Lohegaon means crossing Pune, and we will not pretend that traffic is predictable. What we do instead is load and leave with a margin, and agree a setup window with you rather than a single arrival minute. For an early morning function, the team starts before the roads fill. For an evening party, material moves in the afternoon. Share your date and the hour the room has to be ready, and we will tell you when the van leaves. If you would rather hand over the whole evening, the host, the games and the timings, our birthday party planners do that; for something quieter, see anniversary decoration.
That search returns whoever advertises hardest in Lohegaon, not whoever runs the better event. It is a starting list, and the sorting is still yours to do.
A team that has worked Lohegaon knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Yes, home and party room setups here are regular work for us. We build on free-standing frames, size the backdrop from a photo of your wall, and finish before guests arrive. Because we come from the other side of the city, we agree a setup window with you rather than a single arrival time, and we load with a margin.
Not if they are placed properly. The noise arrives in stretches rather than staying, so we put the speech, the cake song and any video call indoors with the balcony door shut, and keep the entry, photographs and music for outside. Leaving a small gap between moments lets a speaker pause and pick up cleanly.
Yes, with the listening parts planned early. Outdoor corners photograph beautifully here, so we weight the arches, keep them low and wide, skip loose ribbons and use helium sparingly. Then the cake cutting, the speech and any call are done while the light is still good, and the rest of the evening is music and mingling.
Travel is the one that surprises people here, since this side is a long run from our office and the van is loaded with a margin. The rest is the width of the wall, the balloon count, foil lettering against plain latex, the height of the build and the hour of the day. Flowers, boards and lights are extras. Ask for an itemised quote.
Yes, and we finish early when a flight is involved. Parties tied to a departure or an arrival have a deadline that will not move, so the build is scheduled well ahead of the invite time instead of close to it. Tell us the flight day when you book and the setup window is fixed around it.
Send a list of the moments that matter and we will place them. Anything that has to be heard, a speech, the cake song, a video call, goes indoors with the balcony door shut, while the entry, the photographs and the games stay flexible. The order is agreed a day or two ahead so your family knows when to gather rather than being called twice.
It is worth treating that search as a shortlist, not an answer — no one certifies a best. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles birthday parties at home, theme parties for children and baby showers in Lohegaon. The same crew covers Pune. Ask which parts are handled in house and which are being passed to a third party.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Lohegaon before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Lohegaon with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Lohegaon are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
