What you can realistically book here
Baner has very little purpose-built banquet space. What it has in quantity is food and drink — cafes, casual restaurants, brewpubs and rooftop terraces along the main road and in the lanes off it. So for a group of fifteen to fifty, you are usually booking part of a working restaurant rather than a hall: a terrace, a private dining room, or the upper floor of a cafe. That changes the plan, because the place keeps serving its other tables while you are in it, which shortens your setup window and leaves you sharing the room's music. The other option, if anyone in the group lives in one of the newer towers here, is the society clubhouse — cheaper, and far more open on decor and food.
Parking and the weekend evening squeeze
The main road slows from about seven on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and most restaurants share basement or valet parking with the offices and shops in the same building. If guests are driving, either start earlier or accept that a few will circle for ten minutes; a weekday party avoids the problem altogether. For us it means loading in during the afternoon — backdrops, props and flowers do not go up a busy service lift at eight at night.
If it is a society clubhouse
Most societies in Baner and towards the sports complex in Balewadi allow only a resident to book, take a refundable deposit, and hand over a written rule sheet: nothing nailed or taped to the walls, nothing hung from the false ceiling or the sprinkler heads, music off by a fixed hour, and guest and vendor names at the gate in advance. Give the committee our crew and vehicle details a day ahead or the material waits at the gate. Lift size decides prop size, so send a photo of the room and of the lift before anything is designed.
What the decor can be, room by room
In a rented restaurant section, everything has to be freestanding and removable — weighted balloon columns, a backdrop on its own frame, table arrangements, a name or age cut-out. Rooftops are the awkward one, because of wind: tall arches and light panels do not hold on an open terrace, so the setup stays low and weighted, with nothing that can blow into a neighbouring balcony. Closed air-conditioned rooms take ceiling work and helium without trouble. A clubhouse takes the fullest setup, simply because you get the room empty and for the whole day.
Music, cake and outside food
Amplified music outdoors has to stop by ten at night, and in a residential tower the neighbours will ask for it sooner. Indoors you are limited only by the venue's closing time. On food, nearly every restaurant here allows the cake and charges for cutting it, and almost none allows anything else from outside — so if you want home food, a particular caterer or a controlled menu for a child's party, a clubhouse or a flat is the honest answer.

Event management companies near Pune — how to choose
The listings for Pune are ordered by ad spend and review count. Both are worth something, and neither answers whether the team has worked your kind of venue.
Ask for an itemised scope, ask who is on site on the day, and ask what they have set up in Pune already. The answers sort a list of ten down to two. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
