Reception wall
Logo and name wall, usually the most designed surface in the building.

Vinyl, mounted panel or hand painting are three different answers, and which one is right is decided by the wall surface, not by what you want to spend. Choosing wrongly is how a reception wall starts peeling in month two.
Vinyl, applied directly. Cheapest, fastest, sharpest detail — and it needs a smooth, properly cured, flat wall. On a good painted plaster wall it is the right answer almost always.
Mounted panel. The print goes on sunboard, foam or acrylic and the panel is fixed to the wall. This is the answer for textured, uneven or damp walls, for rented premises where you cannot mark the wall, and for anything that may need to move.
Painted. Hand-painted or stencilled directly. Right for very large areas, exterior walls, rough masonry and factory floors — and for a hand-made look that printed vinyl cannot fake. Slower and weather-durable.
So the first thing we do is look at the wall: texture, how recently it was painted, whether there is damp, and whether you are allowed to fix into it. The method follows from that, and we will say when the one you had in mind will not last.
Logo and name wall, usually the most designed surface in the building.
Values, milestones and wayfinding along a long wall.
Writable surfaces, graphics or a full mural.
Safety messaging, zone marking and large-format identity on rough walls.
Lighter, more informal, often illustrated.
Product and lifestyle imagery at large scale.
Narrow surfaces where viewing distance is very short.
Painted compound and building walls, for weather durability.
Designing before surveying is how the wrong method gets quoted.
Texture, paint age, damp, fixings allowed, lighting and viewing distance.
Drawn to the real wall dimensions with doors, sockets and switches marked, so nothing important lands on one.
Direct vinyl, mounted panel, painted, or a combination across a long wall.
Cleaning, degreasing, minor filling, and the honest answer if the wall needs repainting first.
Levelled from a datum line, bubble-free, with panel joins planned where they are least visible.
Edges sealed where needed, surroundings cleaned, and a note on how to clean it.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Five causes, and all of them are decided before anything is printed.
Adhesive on paint that is still curing lifts, often taking the paint with it. Two to three weeks after painting is the minimum, and if the wall is being repainted for this job, that wait has to be in the schedule.
Vinyl needs flat. On a sand-finish or textured wall it bridges the high points and lifts off the low ones, and it looks poor immediately. Those walls get a mounted panel — which, done well, looks better than film anyway because it has depth and a shadow line.
Nothing sticks over damp, and covering it hides a problem that gets worse. If there is damp we will say so and recommend fixing it first, because branding over it is money spent twice.
Artwork made to a ratio rather than to the actual wall ends up with the logo behind a door, text across a socket or a face split by a switch plate. We measure and mark every obstruction before the design is drawn.
Film in a corridor where trolleys pass scuffs within a month unless it is laminated. Film on an exterior wall in Pune sun fades. Those walls want paint or a laminated panel, and the choice should be made at the start rather than after the first failure.
See vinyl printing, sunboard panels, frosted film for glass, and sign boards for the frontage.
Most people start here with a search rather than a recommendation, and the first results are the ones paying for the position or carrying the most reviews. Neither tells you whether a team has set up in a hall like yours.
A team that has worked Pune knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.

Putting a company’s identity onto its walls — reception logo walls, corridor graphics, values and milestone walls, factory safety messaging and murals. It can be done as applied vinyl, as mounted panels, or painted directly, and the wall surface decides which.
Vinyl on smooth, cured, dry walls: cheapest, sharpest, fastest. Mounted panels on textured, uneven or damp walls and in rented premises. Painted for very large areas, exterior walls and rough masonry, and where a hand-made look is wanted. The wall chooses, not the budget.
Not as applied vinyl — it bridges the high points and lifts off the low ones, and it looks poor straight away. Textured walls get a mounted panel instead, which has depth and a shadow line and generally looks better than film would have.
Two to three weeks. Paint keeps curing after it feels dry, and adhesive on curing paint lifts and can pull the paint off. If the wall is being repainted for this job, that waiting period needs to be in the project schedule rather than discovered at the end.
The ones that survive contact with the building: a logo wall at reception sized to the actual viewing distance, milestones along a corridor where people walk slowly, a writable surface in a meeting room, and wayfinding where visitors get lost. We mark doors, sockets and switches before designing so nothing lands on one.
Yes, and painted rather than filmed. Vinyl on an exterior wall in Pune sun fades and lifts at the edges; paint on properly prepared masonry lasts far longer and can cover much larger areas. Compound walls and factory exteriors are almost always painted.
That phrase has no official meaning, so the useful question is what to compare. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles reception wall, office corridor graphics and meeting room walls in Pune. Ask which parts are handled in house and which are being passed to a third party.
The shortlist worth having is teams who have set up in Pune before; venue quirks are the part nobody writes in a quotation. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.

Photos, the wall measurements, and when it was last painted. That last answer often decides the method.
