Mehendi setups for Baner clubhouses, podiums and lawns. Zoned lounge seating, lighting rigged to the hall’s own supply, and a free-standing build that leaves no mark on the walls.
Mehendi is the function that benefits most from a clubhouse. There is floor space for lounge seating, a power supply that will take proper lighting, and usually air conditioning — which matters when forty people sit in one room for five hours.
What you are trading for it is time. The hall is booked by the hour and those hours include our build and our strike, so a function that wants to run until eight has to be set up well before it starts.
And the committee’s rules apply all afternoon: nothing in the walls, the service lift only, and the lobby kept clear while your guests come and go.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
Every line below is shaped by the booking slip as much as by the design.
Rugs, bolsters and low tables grouped so people talk to each other, with chairs for anyone who needs one.
Warm light over the artists and softer light over the seating, run off the hall’s supply rather than off a trailing lead.
Weighted and free-standing, because a clubhouse wall is not yours to drill and the deposit says so.
The slot covers our work as well as your function, so the build finishes before the first guest walks in.
Floral work, lanterns and props chosen for an indoor afternoon rather than for an outdoor photograph.
Struck, swept and photographed back to how it was, so the committee releases the deposit.
Zoned floor seating across the hall, with the artists in their own lit corner.
Open air on the podium level, planned around when the sun leaves it.
On the society lawn, with lighting that takes over when the daylight goes.
In the flat for a smaller guest list, built around the service lift and the one free wall.
In a banquet room on the main road, built to that hotel’s vendor rules.
One booking, one build, reworked between the morning and the afternoon.
A separate lit seat for the bride, so the long sitting is not in the middle of the room.
One good backdrop away from the artists, so the queue does not form around them.
Everything below comes from the two facts of a clubhouse mehendi: it is the longest function of the week, and the room is yours only for a stated number of hours.
A six-hour booking with a five-hour mehendi in it leaves one hour for our build and our strike, which is not enough for a full lounge setup. Either the booking is longer or the build is simpler, and we would rather tell you that before you pay the deposit than on the afternoon.
A mehendi is not a show, so seating that all faces one way is wrong for it. Three or four seating zones with rugs, bolsters and a low table in each is what keeps a room of forty people talking for five hours.
Clubhouse ceiling lighting is usually cool, bright and directly overhead — the exact light that makes an artist shadow her own work. A warm directional lamp over each artist speeds the queue up more than hiring an extra artist does.
The backdrop is free-standing and weighted, and so is the lighting. A function that runs for five hours has five hours in which somebody can lean on something, which is the real reason these frames are built the way they are.
Fresh flower work lasts far longer in a cooled hall than on a podium in April, so an indoor mehendi can carry floral that would not survive outdoors. See the mehendi decoration page, the haldi setup in Baner, and wedding planning in Baner.
Most people start here with a search rather than a recommendation, and the first results are the ones paying for the position or carrying the most reviews. Neither tells you whether a team has set up in a hall like yours.
Three questions separate the shortlist quickly: has the team worked in Baner before, is the quotation itemised, and who is physically on site on the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
For the function, yes. For the function plus our build and strike, usually not, because a lounge setup takes about ninety minutes to put in and forty-five to take out. Book an extra hour at each end if the society allows it, and if it does not we will design a build that fits what you have.
No, and we would not do it even if the committee allowed it. Everything stands on its own weighted base. Over five hours somebody will lean on that frame for a photograph, so it is built to take it.
Rough arithmetic: one artist completes about five or six pairs of hands an hour for simple designs, so sixty guests in four hours needs three artists, and more if a lot of people want detailed work. Bridal mehendi is a separate booking and a separate artist.
Only the furniture, not the idea. Low chairs and side tables in the same zoned arrangement work perfectly well, and for an older guest list they are the better call. Tell us and the seating plan changes before anything is ordered.
Yes, and that is how it should be done. We check the available points and the load when we see the hall. Trailing extension leads across a floor where sixty people are walking are not acceptable, and most facility managers will stop them anyway.
Seating and lighting are the two big lines, then floral, then the backdrop. The guest count and the length of the function move it more than the decoration style does. Send the society, the slot and the numbers and it comes back line by line.
Reviews and ads decide who appears first, not who runs the better event. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles clubhouse lounge mehendi, podium mehendi and garden mehendi in Baner. The same crew covers Pune. Ask to see work from the same kind of event, not a showreel of somebody else's.
Look for a team that has already worked in Baner, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Baner with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
It moves with guest count, venue, the scale of décor and stage, and whether the date is in season. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Baner are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
