Route selection
Which routes cover the areas you want, how often they repeat, and the depot they run from.

A hoarding waits for people to pass it. A bus spends the day moving through the parts of Pune its route serves, which makes it the one outdoor format that delivers repetition to the same neighbourhoods every day.
The route, the format and the duration.
Route is the real decision. A bus running the IT corridor reaches a different Pune from one on a city route through the older neighbourhoods. Because a route repeats several times a day, the same people see the same panel repeatedly — which is what makes bus media work for recall rather than reach.
Format: full wrap, both sides, a single side panel, the rear panel, or inside panels. The rear is read by every vehicle behind it in traffic and is often the best value of all. Inside panels are read for the length of a journey, which is a completely different proposition.
Duration is usually monthly. The panel is printed on vehicle-grade vinyl and fitted properly, because a lifting edge at the front of a moving bus becomes a torn panel within days.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
The last one is the line that keeps everybody honest.
Which routes cover the areas you want, how often they repeat, and the depot they run from.
Operator agreement, duration, and whatever approvals the format needs.
Artwork built to the panel shapes, allowing for windows, wheel arches and the door.
Vehicle-grade vinyl, laminated, in one run so panels match across the vehicle.
Done at the depot, usually overnight, with every edge sealed against airflow.
Dated photographs after fitting, and repairs if a panel is damaged in service.
Every panel, the highest impact and the highest rate.
The standard long-run format.
Lower cost, still full-length visibility.
Read by everyone behind in traffic — usually the best value per rupee.
Read for a whole journey, which suits detail and offers.
Several buses across chosen routes for coverage rather than one vehicle.
Your own fleet, branded rather than bought as media.
Smaller vehicles in volume, for dense local coverage.
Five things that decide whether the spend works.
Ask which routes the vehicle runs and how many times a day. A bus is a repetition medium: the value is the same commuters seeing it four times a day for a month. A route through the wrong part of the city is a cheap panel and a wasted campaign.
Windows, wheel arches, the door and the engine grille all interrupt the surface. Artwork laid out as a flat rectangle ends up with the brand name across a wheel arch. The panel shapes come first and the design is built into them.
A moving bus is read in about two seconds by someone who is also driving. A name, a single line and a phone number or a handle. Nothing else survives.
Airflow at 50kmph finds every unsealed edge, and once one lifts the panel tears quickly. Proper edge sealing at fitting is the whole difference between a panel that lasts the booking and one that needs replacing in week two.
Dated photographs after fitting and partway through. Buses move, which makes them the easiest medium to be short-changed on — you cannot drive past and check your own panel the way you can with a hoarding.
See hoarding advertising for static sites, vehicle wrapping for your own fleet, and roadshows for a branded vehicle you control.
That search returns whoever advertises hardest in Pune, not whoever runs the better event. It is a starting list, and the sorting is still yours to do.
A team that has worked Pune knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
Quoted per vehicle per month and varying by format — full wrap highest, then both sides, single side, rear panel and interior panels. The route matters as much as the format. Tell us the areas you want covered and the duration and you will get options with rates against each.
The rear panel, usually. It is read by every vehicle behind it in traffic, which in Pune is a great deal of dwell time, and it costs far less than a full wrap. Interior panels are a different proposition: read for a whole journey, so they can carry detail.
By the areas you want, and by how many times a day the route repeats. Bus media works through repetition — the same commuters seeing the panel several times daily for a month. Ask for the route list and the daily frequency before agreeing to a vehicle.
Yes — the operator agreement and whatever approvals the format requires, for PMPML and private operators. Fitting is done at the depot, usually overnight, so the bus is back in service the next morning.
A booking month comfortably, if it is vehicle-grade laminated vinyl with every edge properly sealed. Airflow at road speed finds any unsealed edge, and once one lifts the panel tears within days. Edge sealing at fitting is what decides it.
Dated photographs after fitting and again partway through the booking. Buses move, which makes this the easiest outdoor medium to be short-changed on — unlike a hoarding, you cannot drive past and check it yourself. We supply proof as part of the job.
Nobody awards that title, so it comes down to which team fits the event you are actually running. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles full bus wrap, both sides and single side panel in Pune. Ask who is on site on the day and who answers the phone if something slips.
Look for a team that has already worked in Pune, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
The number depends on guests, venue, décor and stage scale, and how close to the date you book. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
