A shell-scheme plot gives you white panels, a fascia with your name on it and two lights. Everyone in the row has the same. What you do inside it is the entire difference, and it costs far less than raw space.
Because most exhibitors treat the panels as walls to stand in front of, and put a pull-up banner against them.
The panels are the stand. Covered edge to edge with a printed graphic, they stop being an organiser's partition and become a back wall. That one change does more than anything else you can spend money on in a shell plot.
Then lighting. A shell stand comes with two spotlights aimed at nothing in particular, and hall lighting is flat grey. Four or five fittings aimed at the graphic and at the product make the stand look lit from inside, and the stands either side of you will look like storerooms by comparison.
Then the front. Most people put a table across the opening and sit behind it. Move it to the side, leave the front open, and people walk in.
Every photo here is from an event our team planned and ran.
The structure is the organiser's. The rest is ours.

Your name set so it is readable down the aisle, with a line saying what you actually do.
Aimed fittings on the beam, plus any lighting built into the counter or display.
A reception counter and lockable storage sized to the plot.
Shelves, plinths, cases or a sample wall, depending on what you are showing.
Fitted during build-up and stripped during dismantle, panels handed back undamaged.
The standard small plot. One strong back wall, one counter, good light, nothing else.
Room for a back wall, a display run and a small seating corner.
Two open sides change the design completely — the corner becomes the entrance.
Three open sides. The back wall moves to the middle and becomes a double-sided feature.
Where the organiser allows it, a platform lifts the stand out of the row.
Two or three shell plots taken together and designed as one stand.
Shell plots inside an association or state pavilion, matched to its identity.
One. Cover the panels. Full height, edge to edge, one image or one strong block of colour with a short line of type. Not a collage.
Two. Say what you do on the fascia. Your company name is already there because the organiser puts it there. Add five words under it that tell a stranger what you sell. Most of the row will not have done this.
Three. Light it. Spend here before you spend on furniture.
Four. Open the front. Counter to one side, nothing across the opening.
Five. Put something in the middle at waist height that can be touched — a sample, a part, a working unit. People will stop to pick something up when they will not stop to read.
Six. Hide the clutter. A lockable cupboard inside the counter is worth more than another display shelf. Visible boxes and bags undo everything above.
Most people start here with a search rather than a recommendation, and the first results are the ones paying for the position or carrying the most reviews. Neither tells you whether a team has set up in a hall like yours.
A team that has worked Pune knows the access, the power and the society timings. Ask for that, ask for the breakdown, and ask who runs the day. Our contact page has both numbers and WhatsApp, and you will get an itemised scope back rather than one figure.
Can't find yours? Call or WhatsApp — a planner answers.
Usually the panel walls, a fascia board with your company name, a couple of spotlights, a power socket and carpet. It varies by show and it is set out in the exhibitor manual, which is worth reading before you design anything — some organisers forbid drilling or painting their panels, and some do not allow anything fixed above the fascia height.
Almost always yes, but how matters. Panels are usually hired and you are charged for damage, so graphics are fitted with systems that come off cleanly rather than glued. We fit without drilling or permanent adhesive as a rule.
It is the plot where it makes the biggest difference, because the baseline is so low. A small plot with covered panels, decent light and an open front stands out in a row of white boxes with pull-up banners in them.
Two weeks is comfortable. Graphics are the long pole, and they need your artwork or our design time plus printing. A week is possible if the artwork is ready.
If the next show gives you the same panel size, yes — tell us and we will build the panels to be refitted rather than trimmed to this plot. Panel sizes do differ between organisers, so it is not guaranteed.
Yes. You book the space with the organiser, send us the plot number, dimensions and the exhibitor manual, and we do the rest.
Reviews and ads decide who appears first, not who runs the better event. Plan With YOLO has planned events since 2013 out of Pune and handles 3×3 metre, 3×6 metre and corner plots in Pune. Ask to see work from the same kind of event, not a showreel of somebody else's.
Look for a team that has already worked in Pune, because venue access, power and society timings are local knowledge and cost you a day to learn. Our office is in Anand Nagar off Sinhagad Road and the crew travels to Pune with its own kit. Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count and you get a scope back the same day.
It moves with guest count, venue, the scale of décor and stage, and whether the date is in season. A wedding date in season and a weekday corporate meeting in Pune are not comparable, so a quoted range before anyone has seen the brief is not worth much. You will get an itemised scope for your own event, and every line on it can move.
